Store Policies


The preferred method of payment is through PayPal in US dollars.  It is a secure method of online payment and you can pay with your credit card without setting up a Paypal account.  If you are interested in a certain item but would like to pay for it over a period of time, feel free to contact me about setting up a payment plan. Additionally, if you have an Etsy account, you can purchase any item you see here at my Etsy shop:


Your order will be sent to the address you specify within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment for in stock items. Items requiring customization (ring sizing, necklace sizing, etc.) will generally ship within 2-4 days. If you've purchased a custom or made to order item, your order will ship within the timeframe stated in the item description. Every jewelry item will be sent in a padded gift box and journals and cards will be placed in protective plastic sleeves or card boxes. All orders will be safely and securely packaged in a shipping envelope or box. Multiple items in an order will be sent together. Packages will be shipped via insured USPS mail at the following rates:

$3.50 for journals

$2.00 for cards

$4.50 for jewelry items less than $50

$5.00 for jewelry items $50-$100

$6.00 for jewelry items $101-$200

$8.00 for jewelry items $201-$499

$12.00 for jewelry items $500-$1000

$20.00 for jewelry items greater than $1000

Contact me for other methods of shipping, international orders or if you have any special shipping requests.  Please contact me for special shipping requests prior to placing your order as I may not be able to accommodate some requests after purchase.

-International shipping-

If you would like to have an item shipped outside of the United States, feel free to contact me for a shipping quote. Shipping rates and times will vary from country to country, as will import regulations, taxes and duties. Many countries will charge you additional fees on imports from the United States and you will be responsible for paying those fees in order to receive the package. No refunds will be issued for items that are returned to me as a result of refusal to pay customs fees, duties or taxes, so please be aware of any such additional charges and regulations in your country prior to requesting that an item be shipped internationally.

Sending a Gift?

If you would like to have a gift shipped from NijikoDesigns directly to the recipient, please notify me and I will make sure to remove pricing information from the packing slip prior to shipping.


-General return policy-

Hopefully you will be happy with your purchase! If you are not completely satisfied, contact me within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can discuss your concerns. If you decide to return an item, the item must be returned within 15 days of receipt and methods of return can include exchange, credit or refund depending on the circumstances. Do not send items back without first contacting me; if an item is shipped to an incorrect address and is not received, or is damaged during shipping and is not insured, no refund will be issued.

If you feel that there is a fault in quality or workmanship, I hope that together we will be able to come to an agreement on how to resolve the issue. Return shipping fees may be refunded upon receipt and review of the returned item.

There are also times when you just need to see an item in person or when you just change your mind! It's understandable and if this is the case, the item must be returned in original, unused condition in the original giftbox and packaging via insured mail at your expense.

-Earring returns-

Refunds on earring returns may be reduced by the amount of the earring findings. No returns on stud earrings or stud earring backs will be accepted as these cannot be reused for reasons of hygiene.

-Custom orders-

Custom orders are not eligible for returns, but if you are unsatisfied wtih your custom purchase, please contact me so that we can work together to resolve the issue.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

In the very rare event that your package is damaged or lost during delivery, a claim must be filed with the delivery company. I will be happy to file the claim on your behalf, but please note that I cannot issue a refund to you for lost or damaged items until after the claim is cleared by the delivery company.
